"Hardly Beat" is either parent or fan speak. For coaches and players, a win is a win. Doesn't matter the score. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Scoreboard does not lie.

agree.

Does anyone have intel if the Corrigan event is actually taking place this year?

Have any teams communicated they will commit to playing in it?

NHSLS is on and has some of these teams. I doubt the Geico event will fit in with the later HS season

Yes, it is. SJC won that game.

He was. Fogo dominated also.
Agreed!

When does SJC play Prep? Will it be a contest?

Prep wasn’t much competition for SJC last year.

SJC surely handed it to Prep last year. Would expect a battle with this year's matchup if it happens.

Prep v SJC at Byrd Stadium Memorial Day weekend.
11am

Is this legit?

Trying to figure out how DeMatha played today when they had the player with Covid but St. John’s had to cancel todays game because their players were possibly exposed by DeMatha player. Somethings not right about this nonsense.

DeMatha did contact tracing and tests for every player on Monday. Those that didn't get swept up in possible exposure because of contact tracing and those that tested negative on Monday played today. You don't have to shut down an entire program because of a positive test.

DeMatha notified SJC Monday but their players already had appointments to get tested Monday? When did DeMatha know about positive player? Why wait for 5 days to contact SJC?

DeMatha found out late Sunday. DeMatha is a testing site so it isn't hard to make your players come in and get tested.
