I don't think she was intentionally trying to ram someone, but she could have easily hit the officer who was in front of her car.

She did hit him. He had to go to the hospital after.

She was trying to escape and didn't care if anybody got run over. Use of deadly force is legally justified if the LEO feels he/she is in an imminent threat of substantial bodily injury or death.

Not if the LEO intentionally puts themselves in danger in direct defiance of their training and department policy, which is what this ICE ‘officer’ did by standing in front of a running, moving vehicle. He created the danger, the use of force r isn’t justified and certainly not the two head shots point blank through the driver side window as the vehicle moves past him and he is in NO DANGER.

This ICE ‘officer’ committed murder in broad daylight on video and we can all see that - those of us who are rational and know the law, like other law enforcement officers and former and current prosecutors like me.

Because the murderer is a federal agent, should the state of Minnesota bring criminal charges the US Attorney has the power to invoke the supremacy clause, remove any state prosecution to federal court and summarily dismiss the charges. Or any federal prosecution that successfully achieved conviction could be immediately pardoned by the current WH resident.

I would suggest given that there is no statute of limitations on murder that Minnesota take it’s time on the investigation and file charges on January 21, 2029.

Yes, the ice agent had already put his hand on the gun trying to block the vehicle when it was in reverse. He had zero intention to let this poor woman drive away. Either they dragged her out of the car or kill.

She was playing games blocking traffic prior to this event.

The only thing they could have done better is use vehicles to box her in and drag the itch out.

Hopefully they will make it a priority to arrest and prosecute anyone who does what she did that day going forward.

These are federal law enforcement officers with arrest powers. Most of these protestors don’t realize this so they act like spoiled brats.

Even if she was blocking traffic (she wasn't impeding it, cars were going by, but she was certainly in the road), it is still murder to shoot her. Did she deserve to be arrested? You could make a case for that. But shooting her is murder.

Are you just going to ignore her attempted murder of an officer?

Are you going to continue to lie about that?

It's extremely clear on the video. If that officer was a step slower, he would be dead

Ok, so yes...you are going to continue to lie about it.

He shot her from the side of the car. Cars do not move sideways.

There is literally a bullet hole in her front windshield. Nice try.

Ballistic will be telling. You can shot a front windshield from the side of a car, especially the spot in the pictures

My guess, ICE loses the vehicle

The police should have taken the vehicle into custody

They said there will be no investigation. Can they take someone’s property into evidence if there is no investigation?

Then that is that

But don't any of the Trumpers call this thug an "officer." There are rules for police not this loser

Gov Walz said the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating.

Sadly, it won't matter. Even if the shooter is ever charged, goes to trial, and is found guilty (a big "if"), he will promptly be pardoned by Trump. And MAGA will start a GoFundMe for him.

Not if he's convicted of state charges. Avoid federal court if possible.

Talk about desperate housewives.

Yikes.

You can't be given the powers ICE has and not have it come out in your life.

I know police who find the money tempting but the have actual morals

Do you not see him get hit by the car and jump out of the way? What do you think PP is lying about?

No. That is not what happened. Here’s proof. https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/100000010631041/minneapolis-ice-shooting-video.html

That video shows clearly, she was attempting to run him over

What’s the game here? You just keeping posting the same lie and hope that people get tired and start to believe it?

They are like the broken record with their stupid lies.

I'm sure their narrative will change 14 times just like it did with J6 because it's just lies and they have to keep making up new ones.

The scary part is that I don’t think that they experience any objective reality. Their reality is completely shaped and formed by what certain sources tell them to think, and they accept that completely as their new reality.

When Trump tells them X, and then tells them Y, they honestly don’t see the disconnect.

Why is almost all of the video footage being shared showing the rear angle where it's less clear of what the officer's position to the car was, when there is a front angle video that shows more clearly where the officer was in relation to the car?

From the front angle it shows that the officer was indeed in front of the car as it approached. In fact it looks as if he may have actually been briefly hit, if not actually hit.the car came within inches of hitting him.

While that's a wild mischaracterization of the events shown in the video, for the sake of the argument, let's go with it.

The officer stepped out of the way, THEN shot her. The officer was no longer in danger at the time he fired the gun.

And you should never shoot someone that attempts to murder you?

If the threat has passed, then yes. Otherwise you become the murderer.

She was still operating the weapon

She also had a hand gun in her vehicle.

You keep saying this but where was it reported? And why does it matter? I thought Rs are in favor of open/concealed carry?

It matters because her intentions were to kill an officer

There is absolutely no proof if this in any way, shape or form.

Except for the whole part where she refuses to exit the vehicle and then runs him over.

1) they told her to move ...literally "move move move" - you can hear it in the video
2) she didn't run anyone over or come close to running anyone over

It'd be interesting to know when they reported that shots were fired. That Idiot who shot and killed the driver is most likely a sociopath. He holsters his gun immediately and calmly walks toward the vehicle. Meaning that he knows he probably killed her and is acting like he just took a piss at a urinal and is zipping up his pants.

As an aside, if there was so much danger, why did none of the other ICE seasonal employees draw their weapons when the one moron overreacted? In fact, why did none of the ICE seasonal employees run over to the car to make sure this dangerous woman was incapacitated?

This shooter, who was in no imminent danger, shot at a moving vehicle on a street with numerous people standing around, including in the direction of the person walking next to him, who was filming him while he was filming the passenger side of the SUV.
