Which is what Loomer was saying, which again, feeds the conspiracy that this was the Administration martyring Kirk as a false flag to seize more control of the country and distract from Epstein.

As crazy as it sounds, I would not rule this out yet.

I would rule it out. Trump was friends with Kirk and he is inexplicably loyal to his few friends (such as Ghislaine Maxwell).

Uh, he literally has his BFF killed, according to many. Trump is exactly the kind of guy to stab his friend in the back if it served him.

People really don’t understand Trump at all.

“ Mr. Piskadlo said that the setup of the amphitheater struck him as unsafe before the event. Despite a heavy security presence, he noticed “there were a lot of ledges, points where this could happen,” he said. “This seemed really preventable. I’m kind of angry at the organizers.”

Again, can anyone please provide any evidence that Kirk was considered a potential presidential candidate before these tragic events? Because I am both very online and extremely politically aware and I never saw this.

Same. I’ve never once heard his name floated. Also, LOL that the guy is mad at the organizers…that was Charlie. He organized it.
I'd never even heard of Charlie Kirk before today.

Same. There's not much to say. It's sad.

On blue sky a lot of people posting about how sad it is, worrying about how the GOP is already talking so openly about “retribution”…

On Twitter, lots of libs talking about how terrible it is, newsy stuff and posts promoted by the algorithm saying really scary stuff about the need to hurt liberals.

So yeah there is some messed up stuff being said online, but I haven’t seen any celebrating.

Lots of celebration on X. LOTS

X is 90% bots and 7% trolls with a handful of real/official people otherwise. Hardly a credible source to cite.

+1 and the algorithm will show you exactly what gets you incensed. Get a grip, people, and get off these toxic platforms.

I have been off twitter for several years now. It was starting to get weird so I quit. I think a lot of levelheaded people are getting off the apps which leaves that crazies as the dominant people as well as bots.

Not a Trump fan, not a Kamala fan, but this is so messed up to hear people say this was fake, staged, that he deserved it, etc.

I’m going to take a social media and DCUM break for the rest of the week and I advise everyone else to do the same. Go on a hike, hang out with friends. These troubling times cannot be permanent and as anxiety inducing as it is, this will eventually pass.

I haven’t heard anyone say that.

DP
I received a text from a family member asking if I had seen that Charlie Kirk had been shot. I didn’t recognize his name and turned to a twenty-something co-worker who didn't know whether. I didn’t know his name, but after I saw the initial news I was like, “Oh. That guy”. I remembered having seen some video clips.

I don’t think that it was any of those, but it doesn’t strike me as unlikely that a random person would be able to get on a roof, run across, lay down, set up a rifle, and shoot him in the neck from 200 yards away without being an extremely well trained shooter.

Does, not doesn’t

Look, I think it's awful the man died but the Kennedy Center having a moment of silence for a political pundit is inappropriate...if only because they'd never do this for a liberal pundit.

If we're going to start doing it for every political commentator, we have to do it for EVERY political commentator.

What is it about this man in particular that has everyone so riled up about his death? Largely due to the extremely graohic video?
