Expect to read a lot of "I didn't want it anyway". Moco seems to be happy as a bedroom community to Virginia's jobs engine. Unfortunately, with the westward expansion of I66 and the Metro, further west cities are becoming more attractive.

MoCo residents and their elected reps pride themselves on how they attract lower income people fleeing DC and NoVA. They also believe it's better to not prosecute crimes rather than have data showing one race was arrested more than another. I don't think anyone is going to wonder what could have been as they are getting what they want.

And Virginia is not.
