Says every parent of a kid who can't juggle at all.

You fall into the moron group.

Kid can't juggle, that is fine. I'm sure she is big and fast and can send it real far though.

Kid juggles fine. Not sure if it's 30 or 100. But it is fine.

So your kid is neither big or fast. Juggling is your solution. I'm sure the juggling can compensate for her lack of athleticism.

You're kid is just "fine" you said it all right there.

It's tough when your DD is small and slow. Hey if juggling helps go for it.

As you say all of this you still readily admit that your kid knows how to juggle. Every parent and player knows that it takes a kid longer to learn to juggle to 20 than it does to juggle to 100. Your kid wasted the most time right up front. I hope she didn't lose to much development time getting all the way to 30.

Who knows. Once kids got to 20 I stopped caring or counting. Better uses for their time and energy. The advice on setting 1000 as a standard someone gave is bad advice. Simple as that.

And so do most people. Nobody said go to 1000. I certainly haven't said that but so hell what if they do? It isn't hurting them or you. Kids who love the ball and are addicted to it will set their own goals for themselves. Hopefully your kid has her own goals but don't crap on what other kids set as their own on their own time.

Someone did but they disappeared so they probably realized their mistake.

exactly

its not about the #s of "juggles" or the tricks etc.
its about your relationship with the ball, is it a part of you, an extension of you ... when it is you can express yourself with it via touch: a blind pass, a lknuckling shot to near/far post
its reflective of loving the ball

people telling kids not to bother with juggling dont understand, people telling kids to juggle X # times dont understand
people telling kids go have fun with the ball understand

My guess is you have been arguing with the same person the whole time. However, he changed his tune so you win. Congratulations with that. Now back to the topic who are the best 08 teams going to be next year?

It is just a parlor trick with a tennis ball. Who plays soccer with a tennis ball anyway? Just wasting real soccer development time building eye feet coordination for soccer.
