Hopefully the nation's universities have a strategy in place to counter this stupidity. |
Hopefully the courts do their job. Seems like we can expect laws to be upheld at the district and appeals level. The Supreme Court, though, has lost the thread. |
So stupid. Are there hack scientists in China? yes. Are there hack scientists in the US? yes. but China is investing in research. They have doubled their budget. The Trump administration has stopped ALL research at our premier research university, not just that done by forgeiners. Gee. Gosh. What will be the result, especially considering that China has a disciplined population of 1.4 billion while the US has a very undereducated very undisciplined population of 0.3 billion. so, ya, right... stopping ALL research at Harvard is definitely the way to go (not!) |
You think it's a problem, but you don't like the solution. If you're concerned with a disparity in research, then we shouldn't be funding their researchers or students on Visas. |
Can you read? How will our nation ever move forward if people cannot even read. Or do you seriously mean the problem with too many forgien researchers in the US is to stop ALL research at Harvard? Is that how stupid your mind is? |
I'm not too fond of dark-skinned people and all the reverse racism they like to practice constantly. |
To all the people who think we should be exporting more and importing less, you are fools if you do not understand that higher education is -- or was until this month -- one of the US's greatest and most consistent exports. |
What am I missing here? It sounds like Harvard has taken meaningful steps against antisemitism. It also sounds like there are far worse alleged offenders, ranging from elite schools, mediocre ones, and third tier. |
Exporting education is consistent with competition. Let's train our competitors. |
China doesn't research. They just steal everthing from others. The fact that they have a patent office to protect intellectual property is (patently) absurd. |
Gee it’d be nice if anyone in Congress or his administration had a strategy for dealing with him. |
And worse it’s a huge waste of tax payer time and money that is bound to result in judges ruling in Harvard’s favor. Why? Because this is the definition of targeting without cause and evidence. DOJ lawyers are going to ruin their careers as they keep appearing before judges looking like idiots with no real evidence or case. |
Harvard must honestly and deeply embrace diversity; meaning: diversity of political opinion. The overwhelming majority of Harvard professors and administrators are firmly on the left, with many on the far-left. They have also migrated toward antisemitism or acceptance of antisemitism at Harvard. Acceptance of diversity of political opinion is Harvard’s only path forward. |
They rejected Barron. |
Can we talk about the admitted Harvard elites that need remedial math classes?
https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2024/9/3/new-math-intro-course/ Then there is the recently fired female Harvard professor. https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2025/5/27/gino-tenure-revoked/ Maybe this is why Harvard fell behind Princeton and MIT. I bet they fall behind Stanford and Yale after this year. |
