Has anyone seen this movie yet with Jonah Hill, Julia Louis Dreyfus and Eddie Murphy?
It was cute but not amazing. Love Jonah Hill. His hair was so questionable as to why anyone would think that was attractive though. I wish it wasn’t as predictable as it was, but it was still funny. David Duchovny and Nia Long were underutilized. My 14 year old daughter loved it and laughed out loud. Sam Jay is also really funny in real life but can’t really act. I give it. 7.5 out of 10 |
| The trailer was bad and trailers normally show only the best scenes from the film. Very unrealistic in my opinion. I know you need to suspend belief for some movies but this was a bridge too far. Hollywood has a tendency of trying to convince us that ugly men can get beautiful women but Jonah Hill? He does not work as a romantic lead. He’s unattractive and his voice is grating as hell. His voice. It’s unbearable. I can barely watch his other movies because of this. His voice is just painful and I want to give him a glass of water. |
| I love Jonah Hill. But I agree with PP, the trailer was terrible. And I’m just not interested in a bunch of lame race stereotype jokes. It’s so juvenile. |
| It was funny. Watched last night. |
| It was awful. Jonah hill is a big fat tub of lard |
Dang. |

Not great.
All the Jewish people were portrayed as idiots. Very anti-Semitic film. |
| Gotta mention though that 22 Jump Street was one of the funniest movies ever. |
| This is unfortunate to hear. I feel like JLD deserves only good things. |
| With that cast I was expecting much funnier, but it just wasn’t funny. |
You should watch Stutz by Jonah Hill. It's about his therapist and they talk about comments like this about his weight and how evil they are. |
| It was hilarious. |
I’m a PP and mentioned voice, not weight. In his business, women receive so much more criticism. He’s too hairy. Sorry. |
| I love everything Kenya Barris does but I wasn't a fan of Jonah Hill. He looks ok but his personality is always the same sarcastic ass I don't want to spend time watching. Eddie Murphy has turned me off too in the past few decades. With these positive reviews I'll give in to watching and hope to get past the awful casting. |

I love Jonah Hill and enjoyed the movie.
Inoffensive sociopolitical commentary. Not a great movie but a good watch. |
