Savannah Guthrie’s mom is missing, suspect kidnapping

The random notes could’ve been fraudulent; someone taking advantage.

He thinks this was a fairly sophisticated job and could even be an overseas server. I really doubt it’s the sister and brother-in-law having an accident and cooking all this up in a couple of hours.

Which is why it is so weird to me that they are looking for evidence inside Annie’s house. I really hope she’s not involved.

“ 3 hours ago exactly 7 days passed since Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker lost synch with her Apple devices.

While the Pima County sheriff has said no suspects have been ruled out and no persons of interest have been identified, we learned yesterday from a gas station clerk that investigators have been seeking security video of an unidentified male.

Investigators also spent hours yesterday inside the home of Annie Guthrie and her husband Tommaso Cioni, Nancy’s daughter and son-in-law, whose home Nancy ate dinner at hours before she is believed to have been abducted against her will at her own house 4.3 miles away.

We’ve also seen images of investigators carrying a map — which attorney @JoshuaRitterESQ tells Fox News Digital may be part of a search for a body, rather than a hostage.

Video from last night shows an investigator entering Annie Guthrie’s home last night with a white case or folding table. The same investigator left later also carrying a brown paper bag.

While investigators were inside, dozens of camera flashes could be seen and heard, and occasional, loud clanking noises emerged from the home.

Nancy is still missing, although her adult children, including Today show host Savannah Guthrie, have released a video message saying they were willing to meet ransom demands.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. There is a $50K reward for cracking the case.”

I hope this investigation hasn't been bungled like some other cases which end in no one being charged.

Who decides the amount of the reward?

Why didn’t they pay on Monday?

Because it easily could have been a hoax? It still could.

It’s been said there’s no method of payment listed in the recent letters. No bank, no location to hold the transaction.

The fake letter had the bitcoin.

Police are notoriously bad at this so it probably has

Is it about last Monday or this Monday? I thought the ransom didn’t show up for a day or two after the abduction.

Right. And she was probably gone by then. This whole kidnapping was a horrible idea from the beginning, both because of its cruelty and criminality and because of the medically fragile nature of the victim.

There were two deadlines in the first letter. One was Thursday (I think) which passed a few days ago and the second was this coming Monday. Having two deadlines also strikes me as weird. Makes it sound like the kidnappers aren’t serious.

I think this is possible too. That would explain why no one else would say you are talking to the wrong person. We did have her and want money (even if she were dead at this point). The sister an BIL don’t have the ability to do this. And they aren’t going to speak up to save Savannah $6m

Do have her. Not did.
