It’s looks wiggy because it’s a wig! Her hair is very thin and shouldn’t be worn that long at all.

The neck ribbon reminds me of a creepy children’s story where a woman says not to remove her neck ribbon. The child finally does remove the ribbon from the woman’s neck, and the woman’s head falls off and rolls away.

Meh. She is a beautiful woman and her hair looks great here, but the dress is weird with that black zig zag which seems pointless and haphazard, and the choker is just bad. I can think of a lot of ways to fix this, it's not totally terrible, but as with her outfit for the swearing in, it's unnecessarily weird in a way that makes no sense.

Do you think she enjoys just making people go "wut" with her clothes? I guess she has to find a way to entertain herself and that's fairly innocuous.

No, the opposite.

I watched SNL this week with my DH and it was really funny and they poked a ton of fun at Trump and people around him. I don't watch that show consistently but it was the funniest one I've seen in a long time. And something that struck me while I watched it is how important it is that we can do this. No, it's not trenchant political commentary. It's just making fun of the rich and powerful for our own entertainment. As long as we can do this, things aren't that bad.

So I will gleefully make jokes about Melania looking like the Hamburglar or discuss Invanka's horrible plastic surgery or Lauren Sánchez's seeming inability to wear an entire shirt for even the most somber occasion. Find joy where you can.

Great color on the coat though and I love her purse. I will admit the whole effect feels a smidge Germany in the 40s, which given the context, is probably a mistake.

Except for the choker, I think it's very nice. I don't love it and I think more effort could have been made for a memorable Inaugural dress, but she looks good. Really good for her age. She hasn't completely gone to town on her face with plastic surgery.
