I don’t know why people always try to read into Melania. She has done a lot of public speaking and writing and she has never said anything not banal or petulant. Even when she was secretly taped complaining, what she said was pretty boring.

Must admit the hat was genius. It was immediately distinctive. You could forget everything else about the inauguration except the hat and that you almost never saw her eyes. She's indisputably elegant and in a way that is far beyond American styles.
