Have you spoken with an attorney? Your husband doesn't get to decide whether your children go with you. The law decides. You said that he has hit you. This is relevant to his fitness as a parent. There is a presumption of joint custody, so the maximum time that you would lose with them would be 1/2, but in point of fact, your circumstances (not your sexual orientation, but the marriage and his behavior) would most likely mean far more time with you.

Both Maryland and DC have sexual orientation non-discrimination laws. Virginia does not. Where are you?

I'm a DCUD and resent the suggestion that I would only find a young woman sexy. I find many women my own age (and older) sexy and would be just as interested to hear their outrageous sexual confessions.

Confession - Unless you are my sister, close cousin or one of my closest friends, I do not want to go to your wedding.

I am happy that you found your person and all of that, but weddings of acquaintances and cordial colleagues are an obligation to me and not fun. But the time I have tracked down a sitter, and found something great to wear, I am thinking "damn!! i wish H and I were just going out for a great dinner instead of this wedding".

However, if you are registered I *AM* truly delighted to send you a gift.

hahahaha....this made me laugh as it's one of mine as well. I work with a lot of "close to retirement age" folks which while good for my promotion potential it's bad for my wallet and waisteline!

I am afraid that I'm going to have one of those not so cute babies with strange disproportionate features. I always thought that parents would never think this and would think their baby adorable regardless but what if I do think he's an ugly baby?
