Defensive (and trying to fly under the radar) much? |
It's not a lot particularly, but it's perhaps less plausible that that a number also live in Maryland. |
at Hearst? Apologists (and cheaters themselves) will always offer up excuses and possible rationales. But the most likely explanation is that there is some amount of residency cheating going on, even at an Upper NW school. |
+1. It should be reported. The school admin should know if there are Maryland-resident tuition paying students there or if a divorced parent resides in Maryland while the resident parent lives in Washington. Or if they are likely fraudsters. |
Kids at Hearst don't have babysitters or aunts? What is it about Hearst that makes it immune from aunts? |
Report it to the school, and let them investigate. If there's a legitimate reason, then the observed families have nothing to worry about. |

Outside Hearst ES in NW DC yesterday around 4:20 pm: Students being picked up in two Maryland cars with parent-aged drivers. Another Maryland car waiting outside Hearst. Why are Maryland kids going to DCPS?
They shouldn't be unless they are paying tuition. Call it in and let the system handle it. If they are legit, it will be easy for them to provide documentation for their presence at Hearst.
+1. It should be reported. The OSSE web form to submit a report is very clear that license plates alone are not enough to warrant an investigation. |

The principal should have a good idea on why there are a noticeable number of MD cars at drop-off/pickup and aftercare pickup. |
If you all have a problem, call the school and tell them. What does posting here do for anyone. |
Again, you sad, ridiculous op: we are zoned for deal and Wilson and live in DC. We just think you are pathetic and sad. You aren't stopping residency cheating. You aren't doing anything at all, except whining like a stuck bitch. |
Speaking of "bitch," that certainly describes the drive to Hearst from Bladensburg.... |
I <3 this thread. Always good updates and TONS of SHADE being thrown. |
Why, you followed a car in from Bladensburg to Hearst? What were you doing in Bladensburg so early in the morning? And, why were you driving to Hearst in NW, DC? |
Hey PG....unclench. |
Hey Chardonnay, use an uber for pick up. Not sure you'll be sober by four. |
