Arlington and NVA are tier 2. Richmond United, fvu, cedar stars, Baltimore armor are tier 3, Bethesda & coppermine sporting athletic pa classics skyline Baltimore Celtic tier 4 and 5.

Baltimore A, coppermine, Celtic, pa classics, and skyline all beat Virginia Revolution who isn’t on the list.

Is the only way to get seen to play d1 to go to a VDA, fvu or Arlington?

No, you have to go to Richmond.

Parents are idiots about how this all works. Getting seen is not the problem. To play d1 you need to be very good at soccer. Rev players have plenty of opportunities at national events with hundreds of d1 coaches. If a club like Rev does not have a lot of d1 commits it is not from a lack of being seen, it’s from a lack of talent at the club. They need to recruit more talent from other clubs. Recruiting players to your club takes marketing and relationships.

Development happens but years before recruiting age. By the time girls are 14 and 15, it’s about recruiting players to your club. Half the players on top teams started at different clubs.

He can't develop...he has no soccer knowledge. He's a marketing manager at best.

VRSC does not have a known brand. Second year in GA. Pretty sure every college coach says "Virginia Who?" when getting emails or scouting games. During the the FCV blowup, I can 100% tell you at least two of three VRSC players were offered roster spots on VDA. The other one from FCV does not play for VRSC.

Hindsight 20/20. You can't tell me those players would not be committed if they chose to play for VDA.

+1. Extremely disappointed in what we’ve experienced.

There is only one person responsible for the “fcv” blowup.

Why would ppl take their kids to VRSC in the first place?

StJ was responsible for the blow up by treating BP/CC horribly. If they were happy with the organization, neither would have left perhaps. BP was actually Captain GA before leaving for VDA. Fully decked out in GA gear at airports. CC on the other hand saw the writing on the wall but bit off much more than he could chew. Don't take a job (managing) if it is not something you want to do.

He was decked out in that gear because that's where he worked at the time. If he were supporting ECNL he would have been wearing their gear. It means nothing but the employer.
BP RUINED FCV.
