It’s sad that the club owners, admin and former president who they had to remove due to inappropriate relationships have to come here to pump up the club under disguise claiming to be a parent. Another indication of how low the club goes to attempt damage control rather than just act ethically. Very sad.

Like I said, anyone who has anything positive to say is immediately accused of being an employee of VRSC. These people that act like this have absolutely zero common sense and totally ignore the fact that literally hundreds of families are either happy or copesetic with VRSC. As compared to the handful that post here or are not even part of VRSC at all.

Like, do you get that??? Hundreds? At least two or three teams for age group, on both male or female sides, with 15 or more families per team yet you have the audacity to think that everyone is just like you, miserable and sad.

IMO, unhappy families are usually those that are not getting enough playing time or not a starter (but thinks DC should be). The other is the one who was a victim of NE and the people close to that family. I don't blame the later. Glad VRSC got rid of him.

My DC plays a lot and I still think that the club sucks. Unfortunately, all clubs in the area sucks. This one is a t least 5 mins from my house..so yea.. we are staying but club sucks!

Like hey, you should believe me because I played in MLS, was an All American in college and know more about soccer than anyone on this board. DC United has the worst locker room environment and routinely take part in Atomic sit-ups among other hazing. They should be reported and the coaches should be fired!

If he inherited the club, why did all the USYNT talent from fcv follow him to VDA. Why did multiple coaches frequent practices for fcv but none at VRSC? I’ve seen BP coach teams and he holds players accountable. If a player cc favorites and plays the entire game doesn’t play properly, bp does not allow them to play the entire game. Cc on the other hand lets players make same mistakes week in week out without any accountability while blame players who are accountable for their actions for what his favorite player didn’t do. It’s very bad coaching. He yells at the girls when they aren’t aggressive to make them more aggressive and only stops yelling when they take the lead. This means it’s more about him than the player. No BP isn’t a perfect coach either. Some parents believe his taking star players out of the game hurt the team performance. Usually only the parents of kids who were held accountable got upset. BP also held cc and his cronies accountable and it’s the reason they didn’t like him and didn’t want him to come to rev. There is an opportunity to change these techniques and variate coaching techniques, but it’s not likely to happen because this group is too full of themselves to realize there is room for improvement. Rather than address the issues head on, they lie and dance around the peripheral and come here to look for players to retaliate against. This is why, just like what happened to LS the poor management will catch up with itself, ultimately having the same result that other clubs have confronted. If you want this club to succeed, change the way you approach coaching and development.

I’ll have to somewhat agree with this post. Yes, feel that he doesn’t hold certain players accountable when they make many mistakes over and over again and again. It’s not only embarrassing especially when that’s the reason for barely winning a game or losing a game forecasted to win but most importantly not developing all his players to be successful.

I can tell you don’t have a child at Rev, because as a parent with a child in the club, there is accountability—especially on the higher teams.

I don’t understand the constant comparison between BP and CC. Both are good coaches and both deserve credit. This isn’t an either/or situation.

If you want your child to be coached by strong coaches, go to ID sessions and see for yourself or get off this thread.

BP is the reason we left FCV and went to VDA. Then to our horror he showed up there. He's never played soccer, his wife seems to get fired from coaching jobs everywhere. When we had a discussion with him, it was actually disturbing to me that he is allowed to coach.

There’s a list of all the clubs in the dc area with d1 college commits class of 2026. VDA is tier 1 with19.
Arlington and NVA are tier 2. Richmond United, fvu, cedar stars, Baltimore armor are tier 3, Bethesda & coppermine sporting athletic pa classics skyline Baltimore Celtic tier 4 and 5.

Baltimore A, coppermine, Celtic, pa classics, and skyline all beat Virginia Revolution who isn’t on the list.

Is the only way to get seen to play d1 to go to a VDA, fvu or Arlington?
