COVID infection is brutal

I am fully vaccinated, boosted twice because I work in a health care facility and I'm day 7 with constant severe headaches, weaknesses, and upper respiratory symptoms. I don't see an end in sight. My primary care provider would not prescribe paxlovid because of my age and no pre-existing health conditions. Does anyone have any homeopathic supplements they would recommend to speed my recovery? I cannot miss more work. It hit my daughter (age 14) similarly but she recovered in 3 days but spouse now has it 4 days later and is following a similar course. I'm really curious what variant this is.

I’m sorry, OP. It really stinks. Try anti-inflammatory things - fish oil, vitamin C, turmeric.

Homeopathy is b.s.

If you work in a healthcare facility you should know that.

I swear by those zinc lozengers. They often work for me and I don't care if it's the placebo effect.

+1. I don’t get viruses.

Sorry OP. It takes forever to leave seems like. I am on day 13 since symptoms started and most had abated and I was feeling better and then today here comes a sore throat.

This has some potential actually. I have it and take it while traveling in case I got Covid. I’d avoid taking it longterm, though, as some studies have shown it may exacerbate or contribute to atherosclerosis

She's sick. She probably means OTC or home remedies.

Yep. I had it twice and both times were really bad. First time I was sick for a month.
