| At this point I think De Santis will win handily. Biden is beating himself at this point. If he doesn’t run, all bets are off but I don’t think he will back down. He thinks he is doing a great job. |

Obviously I would prefer Biden because I am a democrat. But I agree with you that if '24 is Biden vs DeSantis than DeSantis will win without too much trouble.
Biden is very disappointing. I remember when he announced he was running I was really pissed off. Although in hindsight that might have meant the nominee was Bernie Sanders in which case I think we'd still be stuck with Trump. |

Democrat here. I was also disappointed that Biden was the candidate, but the big concern was about beating Trump. Trump really screwed us up in so many ways. I hope that Biden does not run again. |

| I would vote for Biden over DeSantis in a heartbeat. The entire Democratic Party could be pulling a Weekend at Bernie’s and I would still vote for Biden’s puppet corpse over DeSantis. |

+1 I would illegally vote twice to vote for Biden over DeSantis. I think Little D has painted himself into a bit of a corner. He could have seemed like a normie R who could have appealed to disaffected Ds and Is, but instead he went full throttle culture war. Who do you think wants all this anti-gay legislation? Who wants petty vindictive attacks on Disney - Disney?! But I do worry. |

I really really wish Biden would not run, but I have absolutely no idea who could step up at this point and take the nomination with any kind of strength.
DeSantis will almost certainly be the GOP nominee, and he'll almost certainly win. He won't get my vote, but he'll convince way too many "Youngkin isn't that bad" morons that he isn't really Trump. |
