Where do they hang out?
Courthouse
The ones I know that didn't meet their SOs before becoming lawyers met them online. They're just guys. If you want one that's already a partner, maybe find a matchmaker. If you want one on the rise just get on OKCupid and put up your best pics.
Don’t go big law, go finance. Big law works all the time - no quality of life.
Lol.
I met mine when we were both in law school. He’s a partner now and I don’t know a single partner who isn’t married unless he’s divorced. The vast majority of my biglaw friends paired up while in law school come to think of it (of course not all with lawyers but a LOT are).
If you don't meet an actual partner you're set up for disappointment. Most associates don't make it, then have to settle for loser jobs like the rest of you.
We met at work. Of course.
I dated a partner as a paralegal. It was kinda scandalous but ultimately a terrible idea because all he did was work. I realized that is not the husband I wanted it the father I wanted for my children.
Yuck what’s wrong with you OP?
Most Biglaw lawyers were nerdy when younger and got married early to unattractive and mostly fat wives.
Plenty of lawyers on Match. Not sure about the quality though. I wasn’t impressed by the onesI met.
Many meet their wives at work.
Search threads here for "big law." Many posts by women (and some men) married to big law attorneys, complaining how their spouses neglect the marriages, leave the spouse to deal with the kids entirely, cheat, etc. Then go right ahead and hunt for your big law man, but do it informed about what others have experienced. I'm sure you'll say "That won't happen to me!"
Get a job as a file clerk in a BigLaw firm! Wear tube tops to work and mix up the files in an adorable way. You'll be hitched by this time next year.
