doesn’t matter how many transfers they had or what year they came. If a team had players that transferred in last year just to play football, they are just as much in violation of the rule.

can you name a single other school where that happened?

Where's the proof? Show us where they played this year, and last year.

You can go back to when they won states you can go back to when then had Oren Burks years also

You go back, and show us rosters and proof. You are the one making the claim.

Nah, I’m just someone in the KNOW of how he worked moved and treated people and kids, but this is only about him because he’s a sore loser and one of the many coaches that have it out for I error because it potentially strengthens them because they lose if he’s around

So, you tried to throw sh!t on other schools but refuse to provide any proof (easily available thru online rosters).

You have zero credibility. Overton is an epic cheat.

My friend's son played for Stone Bridge a couple of years ago when they played Freedom in a regular season game. My friend said everyone knew about the coach and his recruiting and stacking the team roster even then. He said Freedom was incredible and they played like a college team but he said it felt strange because it was like Freedom was playing by their own rules.

Ion have to throw nothing on no one, I KNOW what I KNOW, but in reality you KNOW to, that’s why your mad now, lol. As far as Overton being anything other than a pretty good coach that’s probably the best and youngest in this area for sure if not the state, I can see he won b2b titles and beat the better teams in this area consistently and bad while at Freedom so in all reality wouldn’t I think he could or possibly would out coach them while in the same county. Good try though

Good ol Stone Bridge, they were a powerful team for a little while, until things caught up with them too, lol. Old school coaching Va new school mentality that’s the difference. Yall can make up whatever excuse to paint that man in whatever light you need to, to make yourself sleep better at night.

"NovaHSFootball" twitter account has the letter from VHSL.

They identified 14 transfers from Freedom, 5 from private schools and 5 pre-9th transfers all specifically to play football. Wow! Overton fanboy kept saying only 12. That's 24.

Does pre 9th mean middle school kids were playing on the high school varsity football team??

It means they transferred from a school in PWC to follow Overton. Thye probably played for his private teams.

Letter from VHSL

Thank you for posting this. Interesting is 2 rules violations. And letter says clearly VHSL placing Hayfield on probation and that Hayfield may appeal. Hayfield’s spin on that was no violations found and only recommendations. Spin. Spin. Spin. I vote for VHSL to increase penalties and say first “recommendations” were too light.

This would be like the prior case where a school was letting 8th grades dress and attend games in uniform, etc. it is blatant recruiting.

And if you add the 9 that Hayfield pulled at beginning of year, that would be the 33 number that was being thrown out before season started.

They started Hayfield in 9th. These were the special freshman who were rostered on Varsity and allowed to dress for Varsity games.
