Sorry but conforming to the peaceful transfer of power of thing is required of a president.

So if you’re against socialism, then you support ending social security and Medicare, right?

DP
I’m fine with them. Pretty sure they’ve been around for longer than I have, and we are not a socialist country.
But good try.

Pp here. I support them as well. But they are “socialist” policies. I’m tired of people saying how much they hate “socialism” when they clearly support a lot of “socialist” policies.

The interstate highway system is also socialist, as is the US Postal system, the military, the FAA and a host of other "government services"

Exactly! That’s my point. We have many “socialist” programs. They are good for our economy and our people. Which is why people who criticize Walz (and others) for being a “socialist”need to stop and think about what policies they are objecting to. My guess is that the folks who are so angry about “socialist” politicians are happy to collect their disability checks and complain loudly about potholes not being fixed.

Move to Venezuela- they love socialism

They love ignoring the results of an election so they can keep the leader in power. That's more of a Republican thing.

He's just that relatable, especially in western PA, Michigan, Ohio, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.

Tell me you've never been in a Steelers bar in Erie on game day without telling me. Yes, that.

Oh that's not the worst we have on Vance. There's so, so, so very much dirt on him! Starting with all the bad things he ever said about Trump, very recently.

Sure, that’s why you are pretending the fake story posted by an anonymous twitter troll is groundbreaking and hilarious.

Walz is to the left of Bernie Sanders.

Everyone you idiots find yourself running against is somehow the leftiest leftist who ever lefted.

The people who repeat these lies are incredibly gullible.

Hint: blowout.

Donald Trump is not the incumbent popular president and is certainly no Ronald Reagan.

Come on, that sentiment can be captured in lots of better ways than "weird"

Different poster, but I actually lived in Erie and agree with this poster.

I hope they put him in Big10 towns on game days during the campaign.

Because people are so happy! This is such a good move by Harris. I realize Reddit is generally a fairly liberal site but go read it. People are so happy about this. This was not the move the “donors” would have wanted Harris to make. Walz is so perfectly, wonderfully corny (“turkey is meat, dad.” “Not in Minnesota, turkey is special.”).

I am so excited to vote for these two.

+1

And he is a hardcore leftist so you know his folksy shtick is a complete front.

Would Pennsylvanians care about Kelly?

How weird.

The point is to pivot from the "end of democracy" that inadvertently made Trump look more powerful when the fact is he's a weak, clownish and yes, weird guy who should be made fun of far more. Ridicule also has the benefit of being more effective vs. fascism/authoritarianism.
