Both Charles and Diana had unhappy childhood and personality issues AND they were decades apart in age with little in common. It was an arranged marriage of necessity for both, not a love connection. She was just into it for princess fantasy and he was a prisoner of crown. I don't have sympathy for either as they were adults, could've said no. |
Why? They were divorced, if not Camilla, it would be someone else. |
Wasn't she crazy for some Indian physician who didn't want to get sucked into her life's drama. |
| Most people doesn't like Camilla because she is the other woman and not 1/8th as charming as Diana. |
Diana is long dead. You are using present tense like they are currently rivals. |
|
who cares if Diana is dead? She was everything a Queen should've been.
Who knows how she'd have blossomed if she hadn't been preyed on, as a 19-year old, by two narcissists in their 30s (Charles and Camilla)? Seeing that upjumped whore get crowned really rips the veil off the fairytale, I have to say. Not sure why anyone would find this coronation inspiring. |
Harry and William were right. He shouldn’t have married her. |
A 19 year old is a grown woman. She was not preyed on. Good grief. |
| A queen is someone who is married to a king at the time of coronation. |
Yes but likely pressured by her family to seize the golden opportunity. |
Diana’s been gone for a quarter century. An entire generation knows her only by name. And history is usually written by the living. |
| Obvious she was employed and living on her own so could've said no. |
Many would say the same about Harry's wife. |
Nobody put a gun to her head. She could have lived a quiet life married to someone else. |
