Same. I'm going to try to be less of a resentful shrew.

So I guess this means that Kate is still alive?
I don’t buy the relationship with Phillip at all. They have zero chemistry. |
Maybe. I am giving props to the poster that said the future timelines are two timelines because I think that's what's happening - not based on this episode really, but we know older Kevin is married and Kevin is nowhere near ready to be married now. I still don't really see Phillip and Kate, but whatever. I loved/hated Miguel telling Randall what was up in the preview. Miguel has been so underappreciated by this whole family. I am glad he says it to Randall. If Kevin and Sophie knock the boots and she cheats on her husband I think I am just out. |
I don’t think they went that far into the future. |
I think the scene with Jack playing in the bar must have been after Rebecca’s death. The death is supposed to be when the twins are teens, so Jack must also be a teen a little older. But I. The bar he’s got to be closer to 20+. Also, in the death scenes when Randall talks to Tony the latter isn’t wearing a wedding ring, which he is in the bar scene. |
Jesus with the bad autocorrect. “But in the bar”… Toby not Tony… |
| In a previous episode didn’t Jack say his parents divorce was connected to something with the green egg, the bbq thing? Even showed the scar? Wasn’t that a BIG mis-direct? |
Good catch! |
| They seemed to dramatically age Rebecca for Kate’s wedding. I’m assuming it’s about 5 years after her divorce with Toby based on kids age when telling her to say yes. |
I think the line was something like the day his parents marriage imploded. |
Totally agree! In the real world this just does not happen. Kate is horrible in and out, no redeeming qualities, no way someone like that ends up happily ever after with a normal British guy?! |
| Glad I wasn’t the only one mourning Toby having to give up his wonderful job and life in San Francisco. That really upset me the entire episode. |
Hollywood likes to show ex’s getting along wonderfully. I don’t think that happens with MOST people. And before you post saying you get along wonderfully with yours, please note the key word MOST. |
+1000 It’s like they wanted to wrap up Kate’s story in a pretty bow so they could move on. Very unsatisfying. |
It would have been more realistic for Kate to move to SF with the kids and then divorce him because they don’t fit in there. |
