My husband and I were in Santa Barbara once eating breakfast at the only Sambo's that still exists (if you're not familiar with Sambo's, it's basically like Dennys) when I heard an unmistakable voice at the table next to us. It was Julia Child having breakfast with her family. She smiled and waved at me as I was looking trying to figure out if it was indeed her. Then she went on to tell the people she was eating with that she made "the best chicken recipe last night!"

Dikembe Mutombo- NBA basketball player (I think he's retired now) years ago. I was at the gym and standing next to me,there was this super super tall guy and I said to him, "Damn your tall." He replies back, "Damn your short." Afterwards, at the parking lot, he sees me and my friend walking towards our car and he started talking us and offerred to take us shopping- haha. We said no. Didn' t realize he was a basketball player until he got in his fancy car with a license plate of his number. When I told my brother about my experience, he was like, "That was Dikembe Mutombo."
