Egg dishes and baked goods and it’s just gross. I disliked it before pregnancy, got real cravings for it during pregnancy nausea time and had too much and not it’s my original dislike plus the muscle memory of nausea.

I love fennel.

I cannot stand lavender. .

I don’t think I ever tried sage in anything edible, but I love adding a couple fresh sage leaves to tea.

Curious if the dill haters are just referring to the dried stuff, or fresh as well? I think fresh is delicious!

Original dill hater here... all of it! I don’t have it in the house and will not order anything with dill anywhere. I do not eat pickles of any sort, but I also don’t like vinegar.

What’s interesting to me is I’ve read all these responses and my taste for every one mentioned is from like to LOVE! I grew up with very bland cooking, maybe that’s why, I love flavor, just not dill. Ha ha.

+1 I absolutely hate dill...fresh or dried. But I love everything else listed.

Sage, hand down. It tastes musty. It ruins anything I've ever had it in for me, so I avoid it like the plague.

Tarragon is another one. Tried it in cooking, in teas/cordials, vodkas, etc. but just ew ew ew.

And I use a ton of spices from all over the world, including many on the list above that were unpopular.

DILL???? Oh come on.. whoever gave you dry dill hurt you. It tastes HOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIBLe in dry form and
should be eradicated from the kitchen tradition. The fresh dill is the way to go. Divine. It must grow in heaven.

Anonymous wrote:+ 1 for Dill. Blech! I also dislike other dried green herbs...parsley, basil. Dislike curry powder.

Love cumin, cinnamon, black mustard seeds, garlic powder is a workhorse.

Except for Italian and French herb combination.. as in Italian Herbs or Herbes de Provence I can NOT STAND individual dry herbs
like dill, parsley and basil but LOOOOOOVE them in the fresh form. Just like God intended.

Yeah Nutmeg smells like "not good". Will destroy any recipe for me. cut cut cut..

Not a spice,
but I hate it when olives are used as a surprise ingredient or a sandwich uses tapinade.

We will accept your answer anyway! It fits right in. I am in solidarity with you on that one.

I'm one who has the thing where cilantro tastes like soap.

I genuinely have no idea why people like it - I intellectually understand it tastes different to me, but I have a hard time imagining it. Why would you eat soap?
