Thank goodness that isn't the case anymore.

The problem is with grade inflation, it is difficult to assess intelligence. Just because you are in an easier school and have more free time to pad your resume doesn't mean you belong at an ivy.

I haven't seen the tiktok and have no opinion on whether she is qualified. Let's assume she is - in a test-required scenario, the admission committee can choose to overlook a low score. In prior years, they did overlook low scores for some portion (the lower 10%, say?), just not for the whole class.
