I had a small amount of bleeding about 8 hours after my first moderna shot. It is almost impossible that it wasn't related. I also had arm pain, and I was tired. I am so happy I had the shot, but I do think it is important for us to be able to share this information just to be prepared (i.e., I am keeping my schedule light for a couple days after the second one).

I thought this thread was removed ? My young DD had terrible cramps after the first vaccine shot.

Anyone have menstruation side effects with J&J?

I’m happy to hear that they’re doing a study. This is an area of women’s health that just isn’t really considered by doctors outside of a few specialities, and definitely not most primary care doctors. This is a good opportunity to learn something.

Pfizer - got my period over a week early a few days after the shot. I work in public health and have been trying to figure out an appropriate way to report this, so thanks for the study link.

Same. It's still going after a week, which is the longest it's been in a long time. Painful and heavy.

I feel your pain. Mine went many weeks before getting an Rx to get it under control.

I did. Took a couple of weeks to get an appointment and I have to go back in a few more weeks for a follow-up. Not sure what’s going on. I had just never seen anything like it before and it happened to start the day after first shot. (I’m not anti-vax! I promise! Just stating the facts.)

My period started yesterday and I got my second Pfizer shot today.

Nothing weird yet, same terrible cramps.

Got my first Pfizer shot March 22nd. Period due 4 days ago and no signs of it. I’ve always been extremely regular. Not changes in general life. I’m actually less stressed from stepping back from a volunteer role and getting the shot. I have the second one next week and maybe that’ll trigger it?
