You don’t have access to anything beyond your own students and as a teacher who wants to believe this entire year has not been in vain, you are seeing what you want to see.

They are, particularly for sped students. But I am with you. I have to honestly document that despite massive amounts of help, communication, intervention, support and accommodation they still cannot pass. It’s the only way I can ensure the system provides the support they will need. If I lie and show passing grades and progress toward goals, I risk them losing services or having accommodations removed which does NOT help them.

You have no idea what kind of special ed supports this kid needs.
