Plain young women vs attractive older woman. Which would men in their 30s and up choose?

PP here, 23:43 on 12/26.

I've had both, a girlfriend in her very early 20's in my late 30's. You think that's creepy and gross? She didn't, at all but that's you.

Tell you what, as a 25 year-old man, I had a 40 year-old girlfriend. She was great and it was a lot of fun.

Do you think that was creepy? Of which party?

DP. I think you as an older guy dating a 20 something means you're immature or insecure and we think she's either a golddigger/naiive/insecure or all 3.

As a younger guy dating an older woman we think you're a golddigger/lazy/only good for sex and companionship and she's insecure and naiive getting taken for her money by a younger man.

It was fun making her neighbors stop speaking to her. I'm sorry you've never had that experience.

This thread has really struck a chord with a lot of bitter folks. Do you honestly think your anonymous angry clucking is going to play in the decision of two adults to be together? Not in the least. Your judging is amusing!

+1

Clucking is not going to change human behavior, no matter how badly the cluckers would like it too.

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, the poor married harpies here just don't want to believe that guys like us are able to enjoy younger women. It's a threat to their self worth as they get older and want to tell themselves that their husband's couldn't do any better should the marriage break up so they have to stay and endure whatever misery she wants to dish out.

Thank you for that chuckle. This poor married harpy sees exactly who you are and I get a kick watching your dates do the mental gymnastics required to be near you. The ego on you is truly overcompensating.

Do you do mental gymnastics to be near your husband? You’re basically saying all old guys are gross. He’s just like these other single older guys...

NP but no. When I was in my 20s I was attracted to men in their 20s. In my 30s I’m attracted to men in their 30s. I’m sure when I’m in my 40s I’ll be attracted to men in their 40s and so on. Don’t be that creepy old guy in his 30s (or worse his 40s or 50s!) at the college bar that in my 20s my girlfriends were making fun of and circling around each other to protect ourselves from you. Seriously, we’re laughing at you. Seems like the old guys in this thread are looking for a young lady with low self esteem to “pick off” and take advantage of. So gross. Dude, she isn’t actually sexually attracted to you.

You are your “girlfriends” sound like ageist little b!tches who probably weren’t as special as you thought you were. Get over yourself.

There's plain and then there is plain with potential. When I was 28 I met my now wife who was 24. She was very smart and fun but her sense of style - clothes, hair - was almost Amish. She did have a killer body but the way she dressed you would not know it. She took a real liking to my sister (a design major) whose "passion was fashion" and by the time we got married 3 years later the transformation was amazing. Why she married a plain guy like me escapes me! 23 years and three kids later she still looks awesome.

CANKLES! that you again?

Cankles? Who in the world finds that even remotely appealing?
