It has not been 2 months lol. They started October 27. |
Its anyone who chose hybrid. A choice was made in summer for semester 1. Another choice was just made recently for semester 2 (which begins Jan 21.) If you moved to LCPS, you would be allowed to choose when you enrolled in school. K-5 are back now, 6-12 will go back Jan 21 or if metrics go up they will go back as soon as metrics drop below the threshold for 5 days. |
Wait, are you saying that the numbers are fine, that they’re the same or better than August? August 15: 115 cases per 100K 5.3% positivity December 1: 314 cases per 100K 7.9% positivity |
| I live next to an elementary in Loudoun and it was so wonderful to see kids and parents coming and going again. |
No, I'm saying the people pushing to close now were pushing to remain closed then too, and in fact don't want kids in school at all this year. They are lying liars who lie and just keep changing their excuses as needed. |
No you argued the numbers weren’t going up because “they’re always going up in 2 weeks.” You’re just talking in circles. They’re up, you don’t care, you want kids in, but your arguments are not honest and are in bad faith. |
Will you feel the same when you find out that a kid or a parent got infected and is facing lifelong health issues? |
DP. My kids are supposed to go in tomorrow (I’m not happy about it but can’t choose it based on my job). We got the notice today a teacher is positive at their school.
|
Sure, I will. A lot of kids will tremendously benefit when they go back. |
Do you expect no positives any time in the foreseeable future? Even after vaccines there will still be Covid cases. It will happen. |
The liklihood of that teacher having spread it at school is very very low. |
I am not worried about that. I’m worried about the human being who is sick. These people care for my kids. They showed up to do this. And one is sick. That... doesn’t bother you guys? The idea of trusted wonderful people who care for your kids getting this? |
Are you serious? These guys are indentured servants!!! They should be thankful they have a job. |
Of course we are concern for the person. I think people are referencing how it might have spread. And the liklihood that the teacher either got it in school or spread it in school. |
Okay but say 5 weeks or 1 month. Saying 2 months when it has been 5 weeks while complaining people don't understand epidemic metrics is a bit ironic. |
