| What kind of loser puts up a political sign, Democrat or Republican, in their yard ??? Abject hero worship... BARF !!! |
Don’t like the way it reflects on libs, huh? Yeah ...... y’all look pretty bad. I can see why you’d want this thread gone. |
I really don't care, one way or another. |
The trump supporters in this thread look pretty awful too. Don’t think you’ve got the moral high ground here. |
I do! Biden 2020 Bring it! |
This is actually interesting. I am a Trump supporter, but have been a Republican for many years. I don't like listening to Trump bloviate, but I absolutely think that we needed a disruptor in Washington. The elites of Washington from both parties supported free trade, globalization and unfettered immigration. Though Republican voters were becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the massive cultural shift happening as a result of these policies, Republican leaders in Congress and Republican presidential candidates refused to make any change and represent their views in DC. They were also too weak to provide any pushback to Democratic social initiatives. After the Tea Party and Republican capture of Congress, voters expected some type of change and there was none. So finally, Republicans took a look at the potential candidates for 2016 and said, nope, not another one. One of the points of electing Trump was to put so-called conservatives in DC think tanks on notice. Lots of people are predicting that Trump will kill the Republican Party. Actually, he has shown the party how to save itself by creating a coalition of people from all races who value work, entrepreneurship, expressions of faith, etc. The only question is whether the rest of the Republicans will be smart enough to follow his lead. If you are comfortable voting for Biden, I'd love to know exactly what kind of conservative that you are. From now on, there is no creating a party with both the Lincoln Project Republicans and strong Trump supporters. If he loses, many Trump voters will be totally disillusioned by the sabotage of many in the Republican Party and it won't rebound. |
THIS I don’t want to have hate filled Dems coming to my house. |
Hahhahhaha Trump only has working class and unintelligent white folks The smathering of gays and POCs that are dumb enough to talk for his schtick doesn't make it a diverse coalition. |
“POC” is already plural, so the lower case “s” you included is both redundant and incorrect. So you’re clearly not as smart as this Trump supporter. |
I like how you attack my spelling instead of attack the argument I presented. Nice try though, you're just proving my point. You people are as dumb and dull as you look.

Rockville and Gaithersburg and some in Germantown. |
Also Potomac. It's pervasive enough in a very liberal county that I am not willing to call this election for Biden, despite how confident all the pundits on tv sound. I mean, these aren't people who are just voting for Trump, they are advertising that they are voting for Trump. I cast a vote for George Bush in 2004 in secret. I certainly didn't advertise it. Think how many more of those secret Trump voters are likely out there. So get out and vote. And don't be cocky. That's what we did last time. |
I probably disagree with this poster on most things, but he is absolutely right about the bolded. Democrats used to be able to agree on the bolded as well. NAFTA killed many industries in the poorest parts of this country and left an entire generation without any way forward. Talking about moving away from coal and not offering a valid replacement for the jobs that families have held for generations didnt help either. I cringe every time I hear a democrat do this. While you think republicans are awful, they will resonate with these voters whether you like it or not because republicans aren't talking about taking food directly off their tables. Calling them backward idiots or whatever really isn't going to endear them to the democratic party. What many are missing is that the democratic party is made up of misfits - all those who band together despite differences because the republicans have been so awful for the past few decades. If the republicans are ever able to smarten up and actually care about the values listed in the last paragraph above, they could siphon off a lot of the democrats that are sitting around wondering what the hell happened to the party. If Trump loses tomorrow it will be because of his response to the pandemic. Not because of his personality. |
I'd also argue his personality as well. It's NOT Presidential at all and if the last President acted like that these white folks who love Trump "for telling it like it is and being a bully..." would be trying to hang Obama for acting that way. Guess what? Our standing internationally is down because of his personality, people here get tired of seeing the gaffes on Twitter, his constant lying is annoying and while that shit make work in the corporate world or with dictators, doesn't work when you're running a country. If he loses its also because of how he's acted as President. |
