Why are there so few Trump signs in DC, given all the conservatives who live and work here?

The elites of Washington from both parties supported free trade, globalization and unfettered immigration. Lots of people are predicting that Trump will kill the Republican Party. Actually, he has shown the party how to save itself by creating a coalition of people from all races who value work, entrepreneurship, expressions of faith, etc. The only question is whether the rest of the Republicans will be smart enough to follow his lead. If you are comfortable voting for Biden, I'd love to know exactly what kind of conservative that you are. From now on, there is no creating a party with both the Lincoln Project Republicans and strong Trump supporters. If he loses, many Trump voters will be totally disillusioned by the sabotage of many in the Republican Party and it won't rebound.

I'm just so baffled by this. In what fantasy world or alternate dimension do you live in where the Trump administration has created this? Even *attempted* to create this?! "Expressions of faith" like holding a Bible upside-down and banning travel from Muslim countries? "Entrepreneurship" like giving most of the PPP loans to crony large businesses? Valuing "people of all races" while dogwhistling to white supremacist organizations at every opportunity?! I'm a small-c [fiscal] conservative who wants the national debt paid down, bureaucracy slashed wherever possible, and strong national security from both economic and defense standpoints but you can't tell me with a straight face that the Trump-era Republican party offers any of those things.

I guess that I think you are the one in a fantasy world... because I look at the lowest poverty rate ever, lowest unemployment among Blacks and Hispanics, opportunity zones, etc. Expressions of faith... March for Life, religious liberty EOs, treatment of Israel, etc. Despite your protestations that you are a conservative, you must watch MSNBC if you think Trump has implemented a "Muslim Ban." The racist crap is just that... the figment of liberal imaginations. People of all colors who share those values are embraced. Honestly, the restrictions on immigration most benefits Blacks and Hispanics with lower levels of education, who saw real wages rising under Trump. We lived in Arlington for 20+ years. We put a Trump yard sign up 4 years ago. Our neighbors stopped talking to us and someone loosened the lug nuts on all 4 of my tires. (yes we had cameras and no we could not see who did it) I drove my kids to school as well as another families children. 3 blocks later they started coming off. I was able to stop my car and a friend came to take a look. It was an easy fix but could have killed 7 people. For 20 years we were the neighbors that shoveled the sidewalks for the elderly, helped neighbors repair their homes, watched others children when they needed it and loved our neighbors. That changed overnight when we put the sign up.

Can't stand Trump or any of his hateful supporters. We have a crazy neighbor parading around outside with a Trump shawl over her shoulders -- yes, a shawl with the word "Trump" on it -- talking on her cell phone at the top of her lungs. She is deranged. Trump supporters are not normal people, whether they show it or hide it. We know this. There's something wrong with anyone who can support someone as twisted and sick as Donald Trump. The woman on her cell phone with the ridiculous shawl is just letting us know. I can see why people would be ashamed to let the world know. Plenty of ill people learn to pass as normal. Hence they don't want to display Trump signs.

Looking forward to the dust settling so we can see him sitting on the curb of Pennsylvania Ave surrounded by all of his personal belongings.

More than half of the American voters who turned out in 2016 voted for Hillary Clinton. Three million more people voted against Trump than for Trump. That's not half. You know this. So does the rest of the world.

I am saying that someone walked up to my vehicle parked on my property wearing all dark clothes including a hoodie and loosened all of my lug nuts. Given that this happened within a day of us putting the sign in our yard yes I am implying that the motivation behind the action was political. We had lived in the same house for 20 years with no issues prior to this. The video was not clear enough to identify who did this. Our neighbors also changed how they treated us after the sign went up. No more waves, no more friendly greetings, no invitation to neighborhood get togethers and no exchange of holiday baked goods like had happened for years.
