At Large State Board of Education candidate is Maryland resident? Is that allowed?

He just for re-elected to the LSAT for my school. If he lives in MD, he’s also committing residency fraud w/r/t to the DCPS his kids are in.

As an earlier poster said, the easiest solution is not to vote for him.

As a teacher who's "worked" with him I can say that he's never come across as authentic to me. I often hear lots of talk from him but not much action.

I won't be voting for him, I would recommend that you find more worthy candidates as well.

Yeah, I'm not voting for him either. Not because of the MD stuff, but because he presents a HUGE conflict of interest being a lobbyist for KIPP DC sitting on the state board.

You are welcome to report them to Jeff. I hadn’t noticed any slander, just reporting of facts. FWIW, when I first read the post I didn’t realize he was black and still thought it was shady. I know nothing about him beyond that he didn’t fill out paperwork correctly twice AND didn’t notice for YEARS. Not who I want running my school board, sorry. Gotta be more careful than that for me.

There are an abundance of Black people, progressive or not, including myself who do not like Jacque and do not trust him. Stop with this white progressive crap. He’s untrustworthy and he’s a bully.

Mysiki Valentine is who I picked. A bit of an ideologue, but he’s a former DC teacher and is the only who actually has been confronting the issues facing people in great detail. I think he’ll be really good for families of SWD based on what I’ve heard him say.
