There are a lot of white people in the NAACP. Myself included. |
Right. NAACP didn’t complain for years and years. |
|
There are zero white kids in enrichment in DCs grade. |
Cool story bro. |
Cool and true. Apparently, the white kids are all brainless idiots. |
They do that on purpose to avoid the white Karens and Kens. If no white kids are accepted, they can avoid the drama. |
Or it just erupts into this whole TJ lottery dumpster fire when not enough non-Asian kids are accepted. |
Exactly, acceptance should be based on merit and intelligence only. I am positive that nonAsian kids are being blatantly overlooked for some reason though? Why? There is no logical reason. |
Been this way for years now. Many Asians are notoriously good test takers, as a result of rigorous compulsive prepping. You want to compete, you need to pay to play. Become an expert test taking machine. |
Whites spend lot more money on prepping in private than Asians. |
Okay, maybe white people spend more money, but they certainly don’t spend more time prepping. What is your explanation though? Are Asians inherently more intelligent, or just more disciplined overall? What is it? |
I think white parents prep, tutor, hire private tutors etc. more than Asians. The reason for Asians doing well are: Asian students tend to spend more time studying than other groups not necessarily prepping or being tutored although that may happen as well just not to the extent as portrayed on here, Asian students feel like they do not have resources or connections whites have or recruited athletes and affirmative action that blacks and Hispanics have, Asian students feel like they are discriminated against in college admissions let alone given preference, Asian students feel like there is further affirmative action for blacks and Hispanics in employment but no such boost for them and in fact, discrimination in employment against them but that discrimination is “less” in STEM fields so they tend to gravitate towards those fields, There usually is no trust funds or other similar things to fall back on so they tend to study harder than they would have without the above items. |
Minus a few points, these could apply to kids of every race though, and they do. The only difference I see between the “gifted” Asian kids and the “gifted” nonAsian kids is that the Asian kids play multiple instruments obsessively and are usually bilingual. Maybe that makes a difference? |
TJ is getting away from "teach to the test" for good reason. |
