No one equates what Felicity Huffman did with what Weinstein did. For every parent clutching their pearls on here about how terrible it was to doctor SAT scores, there’s one wondering “hmm how do I find someone who can do that for my kid”.

Unfortunately there are going to be parents out there who don't have nearly as much to lose, doing the math and thinking that paying some dude 15K to "correct" their kid's test score which then qualifies their kid for scholarships worth 60K+....might be worth risking a 2 week jail sentence and community service along with a 30K fine.

Huffmann rings no bell amongst critical demogrpahics like African Americans and Latinos who are expected to be the driver of population growth tomorrow.Yeah picture a 30 something AA woman eagerly wanting to see huffmann, she was a virtue signaling liberal , therefore a no-go for the Dixie crowd. Charlize Theron's movies have collectively grossed more than $1.5B , a feat considering the fact she has a reputation of being extremely picky. I don't think this will affect FH professionally all that much.

She was apologetic, took responsibility, was humble, will take her sentence on the chin and be done with it in a matter of months.

People are willing to forgive and FH has done all the right things to be forgiven. Also Hollywood is full of movie and TV execs that have done all kinds of things that aren't 100% legal or above board to get the people they want and the movies they want. It isn't exactly the boardroom of the moral and ethics board.
