It's a pipe dream not allowed by the Constitution we have.

Are you betting that Warren can get an amendment passed?

Whenever an online political pundit says something is ‘unconstitutional’ I read ‘beyond a simple person’s imagination’.

regardless there is no way it's going to pass the senate. None of Warrens proposals are going to pass the senate. Her whole campaign is a sham.

Didn’t people say that about health care reform?

Booker is an utter moron.
Biden is senile at best.
Bernie is a loon.

Bennet is the best moderate but nobody is paying attention to him.

The only solid, moderate Dems are polling at least than 1%.

Speaks volumes at what the party has become.

OP agree and that's my fear. It's obvious Biden has lost a step. We need to coalesce around an alternative to make sure a progressive doesn't end up with the nom = trump certain victory

Your fear is insane. Do you know how many people actually like progressive policies? Do you know that not everyone fears progress? That perhaps after four years of same old same old GOP politics, perhaps the change they want is something non-criminal and substantive? If you really care about defetaingbthe criminal GOP, get involved. Stacey Abrams’s new Fair Fight or any of the other groups fighting vote suppression. Registering voters. Working for whoever the eventual nominee is.

lol the progressive viewpoint isn't even a majority in our party and if you include independents it's a total landslide. Get off twitter and this site. A majority of Ds aren't progressive

Agree. And what is it with the snide remark about people "fearing progress"? Get out of your arrogant bubble and you'd see that most people do not see far-left policies as "progress." They see them as weakening,or even destroying, the country.

DP.. what is considered "progressive" policies?

1. public option - expand medicare? Even some Rs are for that, as are Independents
2. college for free - yea.. no. Too progressive
3. All the Green New Deal stuff -- yea.. no.. too progressive
4. open borders? - I don't think most Dems are for this, but would like illegal immigrants to be treated more humanely and for the government to fix our broken system. They also don't see an expensive wall being a great solution, and neither do some Rs, of course, unless MX pays for it.

What else are we talking about here?

She's the greatest populist, like those Brexiteers in the UK.

Free community college is not at all progressive. Something like 17 states already have this. The eventual compromise will likely be free community college and trade certification programs, increased Pell grants and a wider income range that is eligible. Center left and popular

Have any of these morons stopped to think that college isn't a great investment of time for everyone? When did college become a phantom gateway to success? Many kids are much better off learning a trade whether it's the old school kind like HVAc or the new school kind like coding, data analytics and cybersecurity. It's always these dim old geezers stuck in a dead paradigm that advocate for stupidly wasteful social programs.

I see a problem.

$50 million? You must be joking.

How about ONE million? How about HALF a million?

This isn’t a hard left country. It’s a centrist country that wobbles between center left and center right. It never goes left, let alone hard left.

If the Dem nominee is a hard lefty, they will lose. Period.

Let’s just be pragmatic about this. Biden is the only one who can win

Totally agree! If the Democrat nominee is not a centrist, then Democrats will loose. The majority of Americans will never vote for an extremist on the left. It is not going to happen.

A Bill Clinton would win for sure.

A Joe Biden...I'm not sure. He's pretty random, and getting worse.

Dems just need to find another Bill Clinton - minus the ugly baggage.
