But she is persuasive. And I think she's so smart. Let's see if she can convince these core demographics!

Go with your gut. Warren is a good person. Part of what made Obama successful is that people went with their hearts on him and worked to persuade people.

And then after the primary we get out there and work.

How is Warren's tax plan unconstitutional? Didn't we have something like it in the 1950s?

I’m not clear on why someone thinks it’s unconstitutional, but we have never had a wealth tax that she proposes before. Yes, in the 1950s, income taxes on the highest brackets were as much as 90%.

no, Biden is not fine. I've explained why he would be a poor choice, but it gets deleted. Apparently, the "moderator" does not allow a critical observation about the Dems' fronrunner. He has made numerous racist comments, and sided with segregationalists in opposing busing. You don't think that will come out during the campaign? How is it helping for the moderator to disallow any criticism?

The more the moderator censors, the more I know how panicked he is that the Dems will loSe again.

Because you sound like a social media influencer, hitting all the current anti-Biden talking points. A poster who is on the payroll of some group or country (cough!RUSSIA!coughcough) trying to take down the only Democrat with a realistic chance of beating Trump.

OMG. Do you hear your paranoid self? Still harping about Russia, are we? Speaking of talking points... you really need to join the rest of the country, out here in the real world.

+ 1 Someone expresses concern about Biden's flaws (of which there are several), and she's on the Russian payroll?

Biden is a bad choice. He couldn't even maintain focus through a 2-hour debate. How do you think the old man is going to look after a year on the campaign trail?

Whatever you say, Ivan

Nope, nothing like that in the US, ever.

The 16th amendment was passed to authorize federal taxes on income and it explicitly limits it to INCOME.

A wealth tax would require another constitutional amendment. Warren is lying to you.

Meh. Considering those boons didn’t pay their fair share of taxes, I’m cool with taxing those with assets north of $50 million.

Yeah sorry “boons” was an auto of “boobs.”

2% levy on assets of $50 million.

I’m having trouble seeing the problem.

It's a pipe dream not allowed by the Constitution we have.

Are you betting that Warren can get an amendment passed?

Booker is an utter moron.
Biden is senile at best.
Bernie is a loon.

Bennet is the best moderate but nobody is paying attention to him.

The only solid, moderate Dems are polling at least than 1%.

Speaks volumes at what the party has become.

OP agree and that's my fear. It's obvious Biden has lost a step. We need to coalesce around an alternative to make sure a progressive doesn't end up with the nom = trump certain victory

But whom?

Buttigieg, as young as he is, might be our only chance, but only if he can win the primary without pandering to the far left.

He’s a Harvard/Rhodes/McKinsey type, so whoever he panders to, he’s assuredly always hard-right.

PP, go to a Dr and tell them you have a ‘Russia’ lodged in your brain. I think it can be fixed if it’s caught soon.

Whenever an online political pundit says something is ‘unconstitutional’ I read ‘beyond a simple person’s imagination’.
