harris for sure. She’s a fighter and has a strong law enforcement background.

She’s worst of both worlds. Falsely says Michael brown murdered offending decent folk. To the felon vote, she’s still a cop.

She doesn’t thread the needle, she impales herself twice over.

“The felon vote”. How telling.

Kamala is at 5%. She’s done.

I think we are screwed

Biden is weak and flawed but anyone above 1% is too progressive to win the general

I am reading Michael Bennet’s book right now and he is so great. I’m so disappointed he’s not getting any traction this year but I hope he’ll run again.

Millennials will be the biggest voting bloc in 2020 for the first time ever and we're progressive as hell. We overwhelmingly support Bernie and unsurprisingly we're not accurately represented in the polls.

Keep the faith.
We're gonna win.

Hope you have deep pockets for the rest of your life.

Average Americans will be worse off with establishment candidates. Bottom 80% will be voting for the progressive ideas of Bernie, Tulsi or Yang. They are tired of getting screwed.

I'm an average American and would vote for Biden--not the others.

So you're OK voting for an aging, mentally muddled white guy OR an avowed racist who is probably legally insane -- but not, say, Kamala Harris?

You do realize no one is actually going to get rid of private health insurance or make college free, right? We do still have a completely paralyzed Congress that will make sure of that.

Then why are some candidates even mentioning them as good ideas?

DP. I think it’s ok to mention them as the ultimate goal, but yeah. Why aren’t more of these candidates promoting policies that actually have a chance of getting passed? Things that will actually get constituents in moderate districts to call their representatives and urge them to vote for it.

It’s like they’ve totally overlooked Obama’s experience. He spent all of his political capital to pass the ACA and then was able to pass no other major initiative the rest of his presidency. Yes Moscow Mitch is an a-hole but he’s going to be one again.

I don’t know what the answer is at this point. I think if Buttigeig was a bit older/had a bit more experience he would be it. I think if Harris wasn’t trying to pander to the left she could be it. If Klobuchar had a bit more charisma (sad but reality) she could be it. If Biden wasn’t acting so senile he could be it.

This isn’t a hard left country. It’s a centrist country that wobbles between center left and center right. It never goes left, let alone hard left.

If the Dem nominee is a hard lefty, they will lose. Period.

Let’s just be pragmatic about this. Biden is the only one who can win.

I agree that putting up a hard-left candidate is a sure way to lose.

The problem with Biden, though, is that liberals are pegging their hopes on the "Trump is racist" narrative, and you hav Biden saying stuff like "poor people are as smart as whites" and that Obama was a "clean black." People in glass houses type of thing.

Dems have no viable candidates. They are just not good enough period. Get ready for another 4 years of Trump.

Warren. She only seems “far left” because the GOP has pulled the country so far right.

latest poll has biden +2 over trump in arizona. same poll shows trump beating the other d candidates.

i’ll vote for whoever the d candidate turns out to be - but tell me again why it can’t be biden?

Why isn't Bennett getting more traction? He's the youngish, straight-talking, no BS moderate that we need! Come on people, wake up!

Too many candidates, not enough name recognition. Will he make the next debate? He needs to have a breakout moment so people start looking at him more seriously.

Biden is having too many “senior moments” and I don’t trust him to keep his sh-t together for another 15 months. That’s the concern for me. I think part of the reason he polls so well is name recognition- he’s a known commodity.
