Your fear is insane. Do you know how many people actually like progressive policies? Do you know that not everyone fears progress? That perhaps after four years of same old same old GOP politics, perhaps the change they want is something non-criminal and substantive? If you really care about defetaingbthe criminal GOP, get involved. Stacey Abrams’s new Fair Fight or any of the other groups fighting vote suppression. Registering voters. DP.. what is considered "progressive" policies?

1. public option - expand medicare?  Even some Rs are for that, as are Independents
[b]2. college for free - yea.. no.  Too progressive[/b]
3. All the Green New Deal stuff -- yea.. no.. too progressive
4. open borders? - I don't think most Dems are for this, but would like illegal immigrants to be treated more humanely and for the government to fix our broken system. They also don't see an expensive wall being a great solution, and neither do some Rs, of course, unless MX pays for it.

Free community college is not at all progressive. Something like 17 states already have this. The eventual compromise will likely be free community college and trade certification programs, increased Pell grants and a wider income range that is eligible. Center left and popular[/quote]
