Men older by a few years vs a decade and over

Anonymous
The scenario of the younger woman nursing the older guy is not always true. I'm older than her by 13 years and I feel certain that I'm the one who will be taking care of her when we get older, not the other way around. She already has health problems, that will only get worse, while I'm still pretty healthy at 64 because I've taken better care of myself.

Anyone's health can suddenly, and rapidly decline for any number of reasons.

What kind of health problems does your wife have?

"Hope I die before I get old." The Who.
Keith Moon followed that advice. But Pete Townsend is still rockin. Mick Jagger just had heart surgery & is planning to honor his gigs, at, what age: 75?

Do you realize that in the modeling world those "achievements" mean nothing?
She never posed for one real fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, Glamour (do you know what Jana magazine is? LOOOL) , never posed for big names brands like Chanel, Saint Laurent, or tons of others, never posed for a famous fashion photographer (Stane Jerko, come on!).
But you mentioned that she did work illegally since she did some paid gigs (for who????) before receiving legal permission to work.
Quite a successful career indeed!
You sound very classy with your jar and you can keep it.

Nice try on moving the goalposts. You said, "There is no evidence of melania’s modeling career from the time before she met Trump." Now you're saying the abundant evidence of such a career doesn't count because it was insufficiently prestigious. You're just reinforcing the point that your motive is derangement, jealousy, and spite. I'm telling you, you'll find a generous application of that ointment very soothing.

I'm the original poster who said there is no evidence of her modeling career from before she met Trump. Look. You don't understand how modeling business works. Wiki is not a source that points you to evidence of modeling careers. Let me explain it to you like you were five.

A model's job is to get photographed. Therefore, a really basic test of your modeling career (not sufficient but necessary) is: is there photographic evidence of you modeling? No? You're not a model.

Melania met Trump when she was what, 26? 28? At that point, if you believe wiki, she must have been modeling for 8 to 10 years? OK, let's go with that. Where are the photos of her modeling work over these ten years? Catwalk shots? Catalogue shots? Endorsements? Product ads? Fashion editorial shots? Anything? Professional researchers have been digging for it since Trump ran for pres and all they could find were her high school tryout photos and those famous titty shots. What kind of model doesn't leave a photographic trace of her work? Ten years of alleged modeling of which no photos exist? You do the math. A mysterious invisible model!

And then she met Trump. That was her lucky break. Then she began to get photographed at parties next to him, and since Trump had ample connections in the show business, he was able to arrange business for her, and some probably came on the heels of her newfound fame since she isn't at all bad looking. Her major magazine covers were "here's the next lady Trump". Not "here's the next supermodel". I trust you can understand the difference. She met Trump when she was what, 26? 28? You know that's when most models wrap up their careers. If not wrapping up, an actual model, let alone supermodel, would have already achieved what would be the pinnacle of her modeling career.

At eighteen, she signed with a modeling agency in Milan, Italy.[33] In 1992, she was named runner-up in the Jana Magazine "Look of the Year" contest, held in Ljubljana, which promised its top three contestants an international modeling contract.[9][34]

After attending the University of Ljubljana for one year,[35] she modeled for fashion houses in Paris and Milan, where in 1995 she met Metropolitan Models co-owner Paolo Zampolli, a friend of her future husband Donald Trump, who was on a scouting trip in Europe. Zampolli urged her to travel to the United States, where he said he would like to represent her.[15]

Which fashion houses and where are the photos of her doing that? Were they underground? Do they have a name? What sort of modeling doesn't leave photos?

There are plenty of older men who remain very active. It's women who slow down.

Please, I think you should stop forgetting to take your meds, you are very aggressive. And this is interfering with your reading comprehension. Why are you even mentioning Clinton. And Winfrey is not owning her success to her husband. I am just saying Melania Trump never had a successful career as a model (and you did not find any example that proves otherwise), she just a pretty girl who married a rich old guy. For some people like you it sounds like it is an achievement, for some people like me, that's not how I judge people success.

I mentioned Clinton because you (or some other PP) said that Melania's career success was all about (and was the product of) her being Trump's wife. Hillary's career success (limited as it was, LOL) was even more the product of who she married. She's just a not-pretty girl who married a successful politician. If Melania's achievements don't count, then neither do hers.

Made-up bullshit, sorry. You just want it to be as bad for men as it is for women, and it simply isn't.

NP but it'a my situation with a guy 12 years older. He's not even "fat" but beer belly and arms like a teenage girl/ Hair is decent, but that't with help from propecia. That and antidepressants=ED.

I have none of this shit and wish I were with someone 4 years older...

I'm 55. Visible abs, as strong as I was at age 35, two healthy children under 10, no ED, sex 4x a week. Far as I'm concerned, for men "hitting the wall" at 35 is a choice not an inevitable outcome. Your guy is lazy. Tell him to get his skinnyfat ass to the gym.

How old were you when you had your kids? I would rather die than have your life. I'm 43 and my kids are 19 and 17.

Is 55 minus 10 a hard calculation for you? Hint: I was older than 45.

I love my life! Happy, healthy, love my kids, love my wife, love my job.

Hillary has nothing to do with this conversation. It is an actual fact that Melania was not a successful model before she met Trump (and even after, arguably). In fact, there is almost no photographic record of her modeling activities between leaving home and meeting Trump. Other than the high school photos and the titty shots. If you come across a legitimate photo of hers from the period between leaving home and meeting Trump, please post. One can even say that there is no record of WHAT all she did during that time. Remember that no one would be talking about this if we were not fed the legend of "Melania a successful model".

Just anecdotally, I’ve noticed that men who remain unmarried after 40 have some kind of baggage or reason. Either they are stubborn and don’t like to compromise in a relationship or they do not believe in perpetual monogamy with one person for the rest of their lives.

As if there aren't married men who aren't stubborn, who like to compromise or who aren't banging some side chick instead of the wife.

My DH is 8 years older than me. He’s 67 and still sexy as hell.

Hillary has everything to do with it. She was a First Lady with a career, just like Melania. Also it illustrates the obvious fact that your criticisms of Melania are the product of your deranged hatred of Trump, and can therefore be dismissed as transparently partisan.
