I think police report will be filed same time as news conference. Democrats are much better at timing things this week.

The problem now for the GOP is that they don't know what else is floating around out there. The knew about Ford and already had their game plan drawn out. But other shoes keep dropping and this WH finds itself on the defensive. They have no coherent strategy to deal with more allegations.

Personally, I think they try to ram through a Kavanaugh vote but two Republicans defect (Murkowski and Collins).

The fact that our country makes SEXUAL ASSAULT claims political is sickening. Since when is it Left or Right to be against sexual assault?

These claims are past the SOL but that does not mean they shouldn't be taken seriously for a job on SCOTUS.
But, that being said, I do fear we are paddling up a creek we will not be able to go back down. First with no hearing for Garland (bad GOP optics) and now this (people see this as the Dems being desperate), i fear we will NEVER get a full court either due to elections coming up or something from high school coming out.

Gorsuch had zero issues getting confirmed. He's a squeaky clean school boy.

This WH should have put up a better candidate without any baggage.

Bottom line, this is not a criminal complaint. It is a job interview. The onus is on Kavanaugh to prove to his future employer that he is worthy of the job. The way to do that is not blocking an FBI investigation.

If he truly has nothing to hide on these fronts, then he should have nothing to worry about.

As a point of reference, if the same allegations were made against, me, I would have absolutely no problem with the FBI investigating the allegations. I know I have never imposed myself on any woman.

Kavanaugh? Ball in your court, bro.
