Yes. I’m the PP who noted that he spoke about his family in the past tense in the interview. His whole demeanor screams “guilty”.

Wow, I just watched the video on the People link someone posted, and his demeanor is SO CREEPY. He's almost smiling. It's like he's trying to think about how he should feel, or scenarios that should be occurring to him if he were grieving, and saying them, but totally nonchalantly. Just really bizarre. How could he have NO emotions, even if he was the cause of their disappearance and deaths? He talks about the children in detail, without any actual emotion. What in the world.

Not surprised. The wife posted a lot of curated photos and conversations with him but her happiest photos are with women at away MLM events.

Aside from that - there's a video posted around June 9th where she surprises him with news of baby #3. His response is muted and pretty unenthusiastic.

Then one month later they were sued by the HOA and she was killed a month after that.

Confirmed - The kids were killed the day before Shanann returned home, according to the court documents Chris’ defense attorney submitted. Also he strangled them.

A) The reporters found out details about finances and legal filing.

B) Everything else is easily obtainable because her Facebook is public.

Neither she nor the children ever seemed to show any fears or reservations about him, based on her social media. (The sweet girl's recent video singing about her dad as a hero, the wife's recent video about how supportive he's been even though she pushed him away so much when they were first dating... just zero indication of fear of this man.) It seems like, even though he was flat and muted in his interactions with them, he never showed aggression towards them. It's just beyond horrifying that a spouse could seem totally "fine" and then murder his whole family out of nowhere. Just completely blows my mind.

You don't know that. He was probably abusive or controlling in some way, behind closed doors. He probably felt like a total failure as a provider, maybe stressed/angry that his wife was throwing more money away at a pyramid scheme, distressed about another mouth to feed, etc. Their documented financial problems were crazy - who knows what else was going on. His job situation was unclear too. He'd had the oil rig job for 6 months and was making about $61k - what was he doing prior to that? How were they able to stay in their $400k house after declaring bankruptcy? Why did they move to CO from where they had been living near her family in NC who she was reportedly incredibly close to?

I read another thread speculating that all the pictures and video she put on facebook were passive-agressive pressure to get him to stay committed. The video with her daughter calling him a hero could have easily been staged.

In any case, a $90,000 income, a pyramid scheme which was putting them more into debt, a bankruptcy, 3 kids, and a high mortgage do not mix.

You can only file chapter 7 every 8 years. I suspect they were debt ridden again and filing again wasn’t possible.

Apparently she was making more, he made 60k and she was a member of the 80k club. Their mortgage was 300k, 2 new vehicles- you do the math. If their homeowners association was suing them for $1500 they didn’t have $1500.

Being part of an 80k club as part of a multi level marketing pyramid scheme company does not mean you are actually making 80k. Probably not even close.

Again..how do you get to keep your mansion and obtain new cars 3 years after bankruptcy?? Couldn't have hurt their credit that much.

The HOA was sueing them for not paying. Doesn't mean they didn't have the money. They probably chose to spend it elsewhere.

What does being part of the 80K club mean then?

Pyramid schemes require you to constantly keep buying more of their products to sell. Whatever they claim as a salary doesn't show what you are actually paying out of pocket.

It's all over the news. No need to go to anyone's Facebook.
