I think the culture wars, stoked by Trump and the Russians, will be the "downfall" of the US. That, coupled with the minority rule we are experiencing, which is worsening given migration trends, could curb our freedoms. Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court will be the wind on that fire since he favors businesses' rights over individuals' rights.

The Republicans' total silence means that they are green-lighting all of this. I've tried to limit political posts on social media, but I will be posting today so I have it in writing for all of eternity that I was on the right side of history.

Let’s not forget that the timing of the Russian indictments was no coincidence. As we watch the coverage of today’s summit and cringe, let’s not forget that Mueller is also watching today and has a great deal of interest in Trump’s handling of Putin after knowing about indictments. Perhaps this was the final nail in the coffin for this illegimate president.

How? Most of the GOP is silent, and they control both houses of Congress, and soon, the Supreme Court. The difference between this period and Watergate was that at least during the Watergate, Republicans were willing to call Nixon out on his bad behavior.

I am the person who posted it - and I would not call it that either. It did not mention Trump by name and seems designed to appease thinking people while not setting off Trump's moron supporters.
