The audio clip of those children crying is heart breaking. The girl who memorized a phone number - her mother may be deported without her. So you separate mothers from children, then send them on separate ways.

Because we have an established processed here for legal migration. One that entails paperwork in advance - just like Canada, England, Mexico, and dozens of other countries. So showing up on our border and demanding residency (paid for by me) is tantamount to committing an illegal act.

DP. I’d love to hear how we enforce immigration laws while ensuring the protection of children. What’s the plan for the kids? Do they stay with mom in a facility? How are we vetting the other adults in that facility to ensure they are safe to be around children? There are no easy answers sadly. And housing kids with adults in mixed facilities comes with a whole host of safety issues too.

You obviously aren’t, no surprise from a heartless con, but as for me, yes absolutely, especially if their children were sent to one of these facilities where no one could touch them and even siblings aren’t allowed to hug each other and where they have no idea where their parents are and can’t talk to them and have no clue where they themselves are and what is happening to them. Does that happen with children of drunk drivers?
