I’d love to hear how we enforce immigration laws while ensuring the protection of children. What’s the plan for the kids? Do they stay with mom in a facility? How are we vetting the other adults in that facility to ensure they are safe to be around children? There are no easy answers sadly. And housing kids with adults in mixed facilities comes with a whole host of safety issues too. [/quote]
