What is his plan? Does he have a plan or will he just blame liberals?

The Mexican Government moved in today and is shutting it down. A few (pregnant women were mentioned) will get 30 day or 7 month visa's, the rest are being deported back out of the country, I wish we could move that fast.

We have a had a policy of accepting refugees since the late 1940s (in response to our failure to take in enough refugees during WW2). That policy never offered free housing. It allowed people to enter the country, To get housing, people worked and paid rent, or moved in with relatives, or were helped by non profit orgs.

Are you sure our government isn’t housing refugees and illegals? And that they get no benefits?

I can't vouch for every housing program or benefit program in the country. But that misses the point - those asserting rights for refugees to COME here may or MAY NOT believe they should get any govt benefits - the mere fact of wanting them admitted does not mean you need to be prepared to host them personally in your home.

They are also as a group put far more back into the country than they take. And they are required to pay back all kinds of stuff.

Refugees are not asylum seekers. Although have similar ROI for the country.

I find it amazing people who are so against the military budget aren’t ticked off we need to spend so much on protect our borders, airports, ports of entry from illegal drugs, human smuggling and trafficking and the cost of failure when the governments to protect.

I totally agree. I can’t make people leave where they grew up.

That didn’t stop the last admin from dropping refugees there and the governor from dropping tax breaks there and the mayor from giving breaks the citizens couldn’t afford. Karma hit one of them and it is solidly Trump Country. The refugees will leave the area and the insanely high property taxes also. I have already run into a few in this area.

Was it worth it is going to be the question Blue States are going to have to ask themselves when the Red Counties turn Blue and a humanitarian crisis spreads from sea to shining sea.
