Once again: The PERFECT analogy in all of this whining about "leaking" and "unmasking" would be if Donald Trump actually DID shoot someone to death on Times Square in broad daylight and someone caught video of it with their camera phone and posted it via an anonymous Twitter account. The Trump supporters would all be whining about the person with the camera phone disclosing it rather than having any concern about the murder that just happened. Whining about Rice et cetera is a deflection from the REAL problem, that being why Trump's people were caught up in this in the first place. It's because they were communicating with people who are a threat to our national security. And we've still gotten no explanation about the nature or purpose of those communications - and from the Trump team we've gotten nothing but lies and denials and deflections. That tends to indicate that whatever was going on was not above board. And the more people keep tugging at threads, the more and more strange connections keep coming up. And none of it is going away. It all just keeps piling up. Try explaining THAT. |
It's been pointed out that if the identies were masked she could not have KNOWN it was Trump et al. when she (perfectly legally) requested them to be unmasked, right?
If you're caught doing shady shit I'm not sorry about you getting caught. I'm mad you're doing shady shit. |
Right? When you have a foreign country meddling in your elections and attempting to sway voters and then the guy who wins, wins by the narrowest of margins and then it turns out there may have been close advisors and others who were essentially working for that foreign entity within that campaign. Crazy. |
Once again, a refresher for Comrade. https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/national/trump-russia/?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_russiatrumpties-0442pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.2a00eb65f8e3 |

So far, there is nothing that Rice has done that is illegal. As others have noted, if in fact there are unmasked names that SHE leaked to the media, then yes, that would be illegal.
But again the only reason all of these Trump people including possibly Trump are caught up in this is because they were having conversations with people who work for a foreign adversary and were caught as collateral. If they were not colluding with the Russians, they wouldn't be on tape. |
Sounds like you had a good talk with your tinfoil hat. |
As far as I know, American citizens are not prohibited in any way to interact with foreign nationals. So far, the administration produced no evidence that foreign nationals were spies. Just because you have relations (business or personal) with a foreign nationals, does not automatically mean that American government can spy on you. |
This! Navy Adm. Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, testified during a hearing last month that unmasking would occur only if there is a “national security implication,” or if a “criminal activity” was being discussed. Rice would have made any unmasking before she left office on January 20. But by then, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told NBC News on March 5 that there was no evidence of any collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. Still, Flynn’s name and the contents of his conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak — which were classified — were leaked to the Washington Post and published in a February 9 article. |
Well, yeah, actually, if you communicate with foreign agents, our government does spy on you. They may or may not keep the communications? (most of it is not saved) and may or may not do anything with them. But they will spy on you. |
Someone is in a shitload of trouble. |
The cover up is worse than the crime. Flynn was fired because he lied. Sessions lied. The WH lies every day. |
You just hate Trump. Fess up. |
I'd be fine with him if he, and all the rest of them, would stop lying. |
DP. Gosh, you are lame. |
