MIL Calls Baby 'lil Piggy' when he's being fed. I'm I being too sensitive?

What ever happened here? My pet peeve is when people ask for advice, they get all sorts of random advice, they never tell us what they decided to do (if anything), or what happened. I feel like we invest so much and they don't even bother to tell us what ended up happening.
