Only because of the staging in those particular shots you can assume which couple is the bride & groom, but in others, like couples dancing, groups of friends, candid shots, you wouldn't be able to pick them out. I can certainly appreciate not wanting to be the center of attention, but at your wedding that seems like the one time you would want to stand out from the crowd.

I was coming to post the same links and also to add: if you like the looks of the Talbots outfit (which I agree is pretty), it seems like you could find a similar white skirt and top anywhere. Much easier than messing with ebay and alterations.

I was looking at some lace skirts on eBay too. I think matching the whites might be an issue. In the wedding group shots someone else posted, it seems like that was a problem for several people.

It's basically wedding as costume ball. Not my thing. To each his own. I can see how some people might want this, but I'd hope that they'd reassure people that what really matters is having them there to share the special day, and that they can wear whatever they like if they don't feel comfortable in the costume.
