Seriously? This just doesn't happen. PCP would cost more and is harder to obtain. No one would waste PCP, just to see what would happen to some unsuspecting buyer. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Lol. Not PP you're responding to, but that seemed a reasonable theory to me. We aren't all experts on street drugs like you, I guess.

I'm confused. If she had marital problems, which was perfectly possible, why is her husband defending her? Because he thinks this will stop any lawsuits against him and his family?

we all have marital problems, doesn't mean I wouldn't defend my wife and mother of my son if I thought she was truly innocent. But in this case, the wife was not innocent and also killed his daughter, so it is a bit hard to swallow.

DVRed it so I just finished.

Something happened either that morning or the night before at the campsite. I firmly believe that the husband knows exactly what happened which set this all off. She left the next morning probably stewing about and got to the McDonalds, but she brought that vodka bottle with her from the camper. She knew she was going to be drinking it. While normal at the McDonalds something was going wonky in her brain. Then she began the drinking -- maybe to work up the courage to do what she was going to do. Maybe it was suicide. I don't know but that husband knows something.

My friend committed suicide by shooting himself. He was completely "normal" (or so we all thought) then went to the gun store to buy a gun. They had to do a background check so he left. He went to a K-Mart and bought ammunition (no gun) then went back to the gun store, slipped a bullet into the gun and killed himself right there. It was so shocking and uncharacteristic of him and so premeditated -- to this day I can't figure out what was going through his mind. He was on a mission though.

From what the witnesses say it sounds like she was on a mission too.

This reminds me of a case of sati in India many years ago. The facts are that a widow climbed on top of her husband's funeral pyre, fell off, and got back on with the help of her in laws.

THOUSANDS of people witnessed this, but some people insist that she was drugged, forced on to the pyre, jumped off, and her in laws tossed her back on.

Still others insist that she did it willingly, fell off accidentally, and asked her in laws to help her back on.

Just goes to show that people who witness the very same event can have such wildly different interpretations. We'll never know the truth.

Why wouldn't the pcp show up in a chemical report? The coroner wouldn't miss that so let's stop pretending there were other drugs in her system because they're weren't.

I think you are right. The husband knows something more than he's telling. I keep seeing on the internet vague rumors about the paternity of a child, but nothing concrete. I also think the brother whose daughters died knows something. I think she said more in the phone call that she made than she just wasn't feeling well.

I am also following this case- read about Diane potentially having borderline personality disorder (if you look it up, you'll see it may make sense)- and her Hubie a narcissist- who could not accept he was not perfect so if he married an imperfect wife - he was defective... I'm not a psychiatrist but MIL is one and I dated a borderline which threw me into the world of understanding personality disorders with a help of a psychologist.. yup- damaging.. fortunately, i did not become what's referred to as a non-BPD - aka enabler..
