Curious here - what sort of complications?

Psychologically and emotionally, how do you feel about it now? How old are you? What's your relationship with your aunt/mother figure like?

I don't think that extended nursing until age 7 is inherently wrong, but I do wonder how it winds up occurring. I have noticed with my own kids that once they hit a certain age, they became obsessed with doing "big kid" things and wanted to put aside anything they thought of as babyish. DH and I didn't tell them that things were babyish, they decided on it themselves by watching which kids did which things. I hope that the little girl in that video just decided that she didn't want to do what other kids her age did in that regard, and that she was not socially isolated from her peers.
