From what has been reported, it usually takes years to make it onto ACIP, with letters of recommendation, conflict of interest examinations, prior work on committees - now it took days or weeks (or at most a few months in case this was planned from the start). And many of the new committee members have long-standing anti-vaccine agendas - a conflict of interest of its own. This committee will rubberstamp whatever Kennedy (not an MD!) wants.

I cannot stress how very normal it is to have industry people on federal advisory committees. That is the WHOLE POINT of an advisory committee - to get expert advice by stakeholders. The way conflicts are addressed is through transparency and disclosure. there is an entire federal law about this called FACA, who knew!!!

Since you’re trying to min/max like life it’s s a video game, then surely you support the IQ boost from not ingesting fluoride right?

Sure, when there is actual published research showing that current levels of fluoride in our water impact it and that the benefit of removing that current level exceeds the risk when looking at what happened in Calgary. Get back to us when the research is published.
